The Holiday Rock Show
The Holiday Rock Show was a long-running fundraiser hosted by Sarah Harmer, Luther Wright, and Sean Kelly. Originally to raise funds for the Salvation Army, local music fans expressed a desire for funds to go to local organizations in need. That led to the show shifting to support for Martha’s Table, Ryandale Shelter, Dawn House, and others!
This show was a reunion for musicians, locals, and friends - you wouldn’t want to miss it, no matter how tired you were from holiday preparations!
Sarah Harmer shared this about the show:
“Every December members of Weeping Tile throw our ‘Holiday Rock Show’ in Kingston, Ontario to raise funds for organizations doing vital work in our hometown”
The Holiday Show was put on hold for the pandemic in the year that would have been it’s 25th anniversary. In response, Sarah Harmer and her niece Georgia Harmer recorded a track together for the first time! All proceeds from that track’s bandcamp downloads went to Dawn House Women’s Shelter in Kingston.

We love the design evolution. From the DIY poster aesthetic of the early 90s to Kevin Merritt’s distinctive illustration style in the later posters.
